HOME OF THE BERTHA-HEWITT BEARS

The Bertha-Hewitt School District is a growing district located in Todd County.  The District has nearly 40 licensed teachers and over 15 support staff which allows us to give personalized instruction to our 410 students.  Small class sizes, a wide variety of class offerings, excellent preschool programming, and a positive school culture is why many families are choosing Bertha-Hewitt for their child’s education.  Come visit us and see all of the great things we have going on in our district.

Bertha-Hewitt's Vision Statement

ALL LEARNERS WILL SUCCEED!

On Saturday, February 7th the 6th graders of Bertha-Hewitt traveled to Sebeka for a day of basketball.  The Bears lost their first game to a very quick team from Pillager. In the second game against Pequot Lakes the Bears used their height advantage to out rebound the Patriots for their first win of the day.  The last game of the afternoon was against an equally matched team from Pine River-Backus.  The young Bears were down by 5 points at half time and were able to battle back in the second half to win by two points for a 5th place finish. Thank you to coach’s Baumgartner, Morris and Finck for leading the Bears through the tournament.  Great job guys!!
